Grants are available for students from the Global Engagement team at Bournemouth University, via the UK Government’s Turing Scheme
- Financial support is available to support BU students in joining a Think Pacific project. Eligibility depends on multiple variables, including the destination, and the participant’s circumstances, including household income. You can find out more Here.
- What if I’m not eligible for funding? Any student can apply to join the programme and self-fund.

- Confirm your place with Think Pacific.

The Global Engagement Team run drop-in sessions every Monday (virtual/in-person) and Wednesday (in-person) afternoons during term time.
The sessions are open to all students wanting to find out about opportunities to study and work overseas during your degree, the funding available to support you, and to answer any questions you might have:
- Mondays, 1pm – 3pm: Join them online via Microsoft Teams (MS Teams), search “BU Study and Work Overseas Drop-in” in MS Teams or access the session in MS Teams
- Mondays, 1pm – 3pm: Visit them in person in the Careers Zone, Bournemouth Gateway Building, Lansdowne Campus
- Wednesdays, 1pm – 4pm: Visit them in person at the Careers Zone, in The Hub, Poole House, Talbot Campus
- Outside term time – you can also arrange a meeting with the Global Engagement Team during vacations by emailing internationalgrants@bournemouth.ac.uk.
