Indonesia is made up of more than 18,000 islands and Bali is undoubtedly its most famous. Known as the Island of the Gods, Bali is a paradise waiting to be explored; glorious rice fields, magical sunsets, beautiful beaches, misty waterfalls and towering volcanoes are just some of the unique experiences. A highly spiritual place, with unique culture, traditions, and customs that you can’t help but fall in love with.
Our projects are based near Ubud, known as the cultural hub of Bali, with temples, holistic centres, yoga studios and colourful local markets on every corner of the street. Â
Join a team and see Bali through the eyes of the local people, whilst working on inspiring professional placements. Make shared memories, whilst gaining global experience, developing your skills and making a contribution to wonderful local organisations.
Join an immersive mental health project and learn from local professionals as you develop your understanding of mental health in a global context. Take your classroom learning into real world situations and collaborate with inspiring local initiatives. Work as part of a team to deliver psycho-social group activities at a selection of our trusted partner projects. Â Our aim is to support both individual and community mental health and wellbeing through the delivery of this professional placement.
Bali is one of the most exciting, vibrant and innovative places to learn from small businesses and social enterprises. It is Asia’s most popular startup hub and has become one of the world’s thriving digital nomad locations. Join a 1-month team based internship and explore a new culture by immersing yourself into Balinese life. Create work for up to 3 different local social enterprises, charities or start ups and tackle real world & impactful projects, across a range of sectors. Prepare for the future of work and develop the skills and attributes, which can boost your employability.
Developed by educational professionals from local schools, youth projects and kindergartens, this project facilitates international development by empowering local Balinese communities through capacity building and language skills, connecting our local partners with global opportunities. The project fosters cross-cultural collaboration and the sharing of ideas, cultures and perspectives and also brings useful financial resources and economic benefits to areas outside the direct tourist hubs.
