Follow Callum, a bit of a TP legend, as he walks you through his journey capturing what it is like to join a Think Pacific expedition in Fiji. Callum first joined a program in 2012 and has been in and out of Fiji ever since.
It could be worse… drone shots of beautiful coral, meeting lovely people along the way… sometimes the journey to film the programs is just as exciting as the programs themselves, as Callum showcases.
But………. it takes a while to get them right sometimes. We have filmed with a whole host of different characters across the years, so many amazing individuals who are passionate to share about their journey with us. But as Rhia shows, when you’re on a TP program and you’re asked to be serious for a moment, it can be like trying to be quiet in a school assembly.

Kava, or yaqona in Fiji, is a ceremonial drink that is central to Fijian culture, and even though it is now consumed in social settings, the drinking of it requires respect and correct etiquette. Most of our programs in Bali include an element of staying within a traditional community, and some of these phrases will really make you stand out when you are there, a great gesture of respect to your hosts and genuinely may be very useful day to day.
Buliya Island is a small island in the Kadavu group, southern Fiji. It is located on the coast and has a community structure that is very similar to a village that you may end up staying in one day.
