Mending Minds Foundation (Fiji)
- Mending Minds was founded on 19th November, 2021.
- The Founder envisioned a society where Mental health is recognised as an essential part of our general well-being in which at risk individuals, vulnerable groups and their families struggling with mental health challenges are acknowledged and prioritised.
- Like-minded people joined Mending Minds with determination, dedication and passion to focus on enhancing the quality of peoples’ lives impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our clinical team comprises of counsellors and social workers who are very ambitious in helping build communities that are aware of what mental health is all about; inform communities about when and how to access relevant and appropriate MH&PS services; promote mental health; advocate for stigma reduction; and inspire other stakeholders, policy makers and interested parties to join hands and work collaboratively towards wellness, recovery and resiliency. We facilitate face-to-face sessions alongside tele-health services Fiji wide. In addition, we offer comprehensive psychosocial assessment with recommendations for treatment and link clients to additional specialist services where necessary.
