Barriers To Growth
What Are Your Greatest Challenges?

One of the key barriers Save Our Fiji faces is the challenge of navigating governmental support and policies that may prioritize certain communities over others. This barrier hinders efforts to address water challenges comprehensively and equitably across Fiji. Additionally, raising awareness and mobilizing resources to support communities lacking access to clean water can be challenging in the face of limited government assistance and competing priorities.

Some specific barriers Save Our Fiji is currently facing:

Government Priorities: Difficulty in accessing government funding or support due to competing priorities or bureaucratic barriers which may hinder efforts to implement water projects in underserved communities.

Resource Constraints: Limited financial resources, fundraising difficulties, or lack of access to donors may constrain Save Our Fiji’s ability to scale up projects or reach more communities in need.

Community Engagement: Difficulty in engaging and mobilising communities affected by water challenges, particularly in remote or underserved areas where trust-building and participation may be more challenging.
