What are your long term aims and vision for Fiji?
Looking to the future, SSV wants to be involved in creating wealth for our membership. To achieve this, we believe that our organisation must become self-sustaining. While we wish to maintain the quality and the spiritual significance of our yau ni vanua, when we talk about culture and heritage, it is not just about preserving those things of value, but also about
moving forward and keeping them relevant in today’s world. It may mean reforming how we do things.

A constant challenge that we face is the difficulty in obtaining donors to help the organisation. SSV is a self-sustaining organisation and it is through donations and funding opportunities we are able foster and achieve our organisational goals. However, looking for these is one of the major challenges that we face.
