University Funding Information

Grants are available from the Global Opportunities team at Ulster University:

  • Financial support is available to cover flight costs to Fiji or Bali.
  • Financial support for Think Pacific project fees ranges between £500 – £2,000 per person.
  • The amount of funding depends on the participant’s circumstances, including household income.
Application Process
  1. Apply to Ulster University here, before 19th Feb.
  2. Conduct an interview with Think Pacific, if shortlisted for application.
  3. Confirm your place with Think Pacific.

Live in a traditional village, become a member of a Fijian family and work alongside a Fijian youth group to facilitate highly engaging workshops on behalf of our partners, as you explore local and global issues together across the areas of Climate, Sports, Public Health, Mental Health and Enterprise.

Supercharge your CV by completing a mental health placement which includes working on behalf of our inspiring partners and learning from local experts in the field. All whilst living in a traditional Balinese village and immersing in the local culture.
