This is your chance to travel to some of the most beautiful places in the world, immerse yourself in a vibrant culture, and contribute to sustainable projects – all while gaining valuable experience and enhancing your CV.

We are a UK-based social enterprise dedicated to supporting sustainable development and cultural exchange across the Asia-Pacific region. Through immersive volunteer programs and internships, Think Pacific offers UK college students the unique opportunity to engage in meaningful projects across areas such as: global citizenship, business, education, health, conservation, and sports while experiencing the vibrant cultures and breathtaking landscapes of Fiji, Bali and the wider Asia-Pacific region.
With a strong focus on ethical projects, cultural immersion, and personal growth, Think Pacific aims to empower students to make a positive impact while gaining invaluable skills and insights that enhance their global awareness and employability.
Your college has been successful in applying for a number of fully funded 2-week placements from the UK Government’s Turing Scheme.
Financial support will fund your project fees, flights, visa, insurance, vaccinations and other travel costs. You will only be expected to bring some recommended spending money of around ÂŁ150 with you for additional items of a personal nature.

For eligible students under the Turing Scheme, enjoy the incredible opportunity of a fully-funded placement, including flights, accommodation, meals, and project materials.
Live and learn in beautiful Bali at heart of South East Asia, participating in traditional ceremonies, arts, and community life to gain an appreciation of Indonesian culture and develop your inter-cultural skills.Â
Visit local organisations and participate in projects, workshops and field-trips that are relevant to the outcomes of your experience, such as engaging in conservation initiatives, community projects, business site visits and sustainability-themed activities.
Visit local attractions and areas of interest to promote teamwork, leadership and cultural understanding such as cycling, yoga, swimming, team games, waterfall and rainforest visits, animal sanctuary, local art, music and dance and food markets.
Complete group ‘social action challenges’. These real-world projects set by our range of inspiring in-country partners to consider and contribute ideas towards real global challenges relevant to your vocation.
All programmes are managed and guided by our in-country operations team. You will be assigned local group leaders that shall provide 24/7 support and be by your side each day, with further assistance from management team and the college staff that join the trip.

- Airport transfers from your college to UK airport
- Return flights to Bali, with college staff and group of fellow students
- Airport welcome from Think Pacific team and transfer to hotel in Ubud
- All in-country accommodation, transport and meals
- 15-day guided group experience. Including all excursions, site visits and cultural activities
- College staff members providing 24/7 support and pastoral care
- Think Pacific local and international staff team co-ordinating all daily group activities and providing 24/7 support.
