Below are a few example itineraries of 16-day Study Tours that have been designed and delivered alongside university partners. If you can’t see a program that works for you and the needs of your institutions, we would be delighted to design a bespoke program for you.
Coming soon to our list of existing itineraries are study tour programs in the following fields: Marketing, Women’s Empowerment, Sustainable Development & Indigenous Culture.
Think Pacific are a formally registered third party provider under Western Sydney University Go Global Office for their virtual and mobility programmes. I would encourage more university staff to consider visiting the Fiji Islands and discuss their programming needs with Think Pacific.
Immerse into Fijian culture by spending time visiting or living at the heart of a traditional and remote village. See Fiji through the eyes of the local people and experience age-old customs and traditions.
Learn from academics in the South Pacific. Complete workshops, short-courses or study sessions at the University of the South Pacific.
Complete a group social action challenge supporting community-based development initiatives in Fiji. Student can present their work to experts and sector leaders.
Students can spend time learning from local leaders and implementers in their relevant field of study. Visit organisations and businesses to engage with entrepreneurs, policy makers and thought leaders.
Visit local attractions such as waterfall rainforests, and museums or sail a traditional Polynesian Sailing Canoe on a castaway island resort. Participate in team activities hosted by the University of the South Pacific.
All of our Study Tours are managed and guided by our in-country operations team. You will be assigned local group leaders that shall provide 24/7 support and be by your side each day, with further assistance from our Regional Manager and Programs Manager.
We provide a wide range of services for both university staff and students. Whether that is pre-departure, during program delivery and after students return home.
Our aim is for every student to build an understanding and connection with Fiji, whilst being part of a study tour program, which has long term positive impact for Fiji’s future.
Our programs are built upon sustainable partnerships with organisations in Fiji and are designed under our formal agreements with Fijian Ministries.
As a registered local organisation, we invest in local staff, job creation and training; we add capacity to our partner organisations and expand the skills of Fijian university students and unemployed youth through global collaboration, courses and professional experience.
Through the Think Pacific Foundation, we support local Fijian charities and communities to achieve sustainable development goals under the guidance of Fiji’s National Development Plan.
