- 1-Month or 16-Day Projects in Fiji & Bali

- Project includes; food, accommodation, 24/7 in-country support, weekend adventures, domestic travel, and charity donation. (Flights not included).
- Project costs from £1,895, plus flights. Apply for University of Glasgow funding of up to £3,000 per person.Â

There is some fantastic funding available from the Global Opportunities team at the University of Glasgow for students to join a Think Pacific project during summer 2024, via the UK Government’s Turing Scheme and the university’s internal funding streams.
- Only students from a widening participation back ground will be eligible for funding. This will be determined by the participants circumstance such as household income.
- There is Financial support available of £3,000 for up to x10 eligible students to join a project in Fiji or Bali. Inclusive of £2,000 from the Turing Scheme & £1,000 form the Global Opportunities team.
- Applications for funding will open on the university website in January 2023.
Application Process
- Submit your details via Think Pacific’s application from to ‘register your interest’.
- In January 2024, a member of the Think Pacific team will email you the link to apply directly to the University of Glasgow for funding
- Apply via ‘MyCampus’ before via 26th March 2024.
- Informed of funding outcome at the end of March 2024
- Complete your application interview with Think Pacific & confirm your place.

The villages in Fiji are only accessible upon invitation by the chief only, which means you can sample a way of life that few people will ever be fortunate enough to see.
Our projects in Bali offer you the opportunity to supercharge your CV by completing a professional internship or placement for our inspiring partners, which includes a collection of hand-picked local NGOs, businesses and social enterprises.
Whilst living in a traditional Balinese village and immersing into the local culture, you can promote positive Mental Health or complete an internship for partners across a range of sectors.
