- 1-Month in the Fiji Islands & Bali, Indonesia

- Project includes; food, accommodation, 24/7 in-country support, weekend adventures, domestic travel, and charity donation. (Flights not included).
- Project costs from £1,895. Apply for university funding up to £3,000.

Support is available via UWE Bristol to help enable you to take part in this opportunity. All students taking part will be eligible for the UK Government’s Turing Scheme funding and some students will additionally qualify for the UWE Employability Bursary.
Total financial support ranges from around £500, up to just under £3000 per person. The level of funding depends on participant’s circumstances, including household income. You can find out more at the links above.
Application process
- Apply online via Think Pacific before 10th Dec
- Complete an application call with Think Pacific.
- Email the UWE Go Global Team, goglobal@uwe.ac.uk, with your programme start and end dates.
- The UWE Go Global team will confirm the funding you are eligible for and the application process for funding, which you should start straight away.
- Confirm your place in the Think Pacific team.
Funded spaces are limited and will be assigned to students first come, first served, based on the date of your initial application (Step 1).

Our projects in Fiji are truly unique. They take place in rural communities which are a world away from the usual crowds and the average volunteer projects. The villages in Fiji are only accessible upon invitation by the chief only, which means you can sample a way of life that few people will ever be fortunate enough to see.
Our projects in Bali offer you the opportunity to supercharge your CV by completing a professional internship or placement for our inspiring partners, which includes a collection of hand-picked local NGOs, businesses and social enterprises.
Whilst living in a traditional Balinese village and immersing into the local culture, you can promote positive Mental Health or complete an internship for partners across a range of sectors.
